She is an English fashion designer based in London. She was born in Lancashire in 1949 and studied fashion and textiles at Birmingham College of Art. Jackson launched her own collection first in 1981, with her husband and business partner David Cohen. Four years later she had been given the title of British Designer of the Year. She has dressed everyone from Princess Diana to the girl next door. She was always inspired by painters, but her favourite color is black. She likes to play with contrasting textures and knitwear. Every season she designs 150 to 200 pieces for Debenhams, from clothes to homeware, for women aged from 18 to 80.
