Casually cool downtown style, fashion superhero, an icon for the younger generation, an expert in perfecting the basics, Asian-American parents, born in California

He is a fashion designer born in 1983 in the US (San Francisco), former creative director of Balenciaga in 2012-15. At age 19 he moved to New York and attended Parsons school of Design. In 2007 he created his own label and presented his first ready-to wear collection for women. Later he started to design handbags and clothes for men as well. In 2009 he won the CFDA’s Swarovski Womenswear Designer of the Year and Swiss Textiles Award. Today his work can be found in more than 700 stores around the world, collaborarted not only with luxury stores but H&M. He is known for his urban designs and excellent tailoring skills, in his recent collection black has been the pre-dominant color.
