Bright, flirtatious, mix of vintage and rock, rebellious young bohemia, loved by celebrities like Madonna, Naomi Capmbell, Linda Evangelista

She is an American Fashion Designer born in 1964, a descendant of a Chinese noble family. After graduating at Parsons in New York, Sui started designing for sportswear labels (eg. Glenora). She held her first own runway show in 1991 and opened her first boutique in Soho in 1992. She likes mixing 'retro' styles with her current cultural obsessions. Her base is in NY, but her shops can be found worldwide mainly in US, Asia and Europe.

Sui is also known for her many fragrance and cosmetic lines, eg. Anna Sui Classic (1999), Secret Wish (2005), Romantica (2015).

She was named in the "Top 5 Fashion Icons of the Decade" by Time magazine.
