A leading couture designer, provided the most iconic outfits, elegant dresses, built one of the most successful British couture brands dressed many of the world's most beautiful and influential women

Catherine (1945-2010) was a Fashion Designer based in London. She was a successful couturiere for over 30 years. She studied Aesthetics and Philosophy in France, then she moved to London. She married John Walker in 1970 and became a permanent UK resident. First she sold clothes for children, later she moved into designing high-end evening and wedding dresses for women. In 1976 she set up her own company Chelsea Design. She also created a range of skincare products. Walker was awarded Designer of the Year for Glamour and in 1990 Designer of the Year for Couture. She was one of the favourite designers of Princess Diana, also created clothes for Kate Middleton.
