She is an Italian fashion designer and current Vice President of Versace fashion house. The main collections within the Versace group are Versace Collection, Versus Versace and Versace Jeans. Originally her brother established the brand and she worked closely with him as his muse and adviser and she owned the brand Versus. After her brother was murdered in 1997, she became the creative director of the entire Versace Group.
In 2009 she hired Christopher Kane to design for Versus and reinvent the brand. After Kane left, Versace started working with upcoming designers JW Anderson and Anthony Vaccarello.
The company markets a variety of product lines, home goods, perfume, clothing and furniture. The company even operates two hotels.
