Gibo is an Italian High-end apparel manufacturer established by British fashion designer and illustrator Julie Verhoeven in 2002. She introduced collections of seasons 2003 and 2004. Today the company produces and distributes sportswear, footwear, and formal wear for Marc Jacobs, John Galliano, Paul Smith, Chloe, Michael Kors, Roberto Cavalli, and Antonio Maras.
Verhoeven has a design academic at both Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art. Her illustrations have been described as "whimsical" and "Rock & Roll meets rainbow". She also made illustrations to books, magazines and album covers and she collaborated with several labels such as Louis Vuitton, Versace, Mulberry and H&M.
