British fashion designer born in 1969. He graduated at St Martins in 1992 in London. He worked for Bottega, Veneta and Gucci before founding his own brand called GILES in 2003. His lines are bought by many prestigious stores around the world. In 2010 he was appointed to be the creative director of Ungaro but he left in 2011. His clientele includes Kate Moss, Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow. During his career he won several fashion designer awards in the last decase, eg. the Best New Designer Award (2004), British Fashion Designer of the Year award in 2006. Aside from fashion design, Giles is also an established illustrator.
